Alex & Ryan in Aruba

Whew! I tell you, hanging out in Aruba for a week is tough work! It took me a little longer than usual to recover and get these favorites online. My normal editor is off shooting the Pro Bowl, so I had to screw up some courage and edit this wedding on my own.

Alex, Ryan, their family, and friends were so easy to be around, I kept forgetting that I was working. My lovely wife was with me for most the trip, and even helped out on wedding day by wielding the second camera.

As you can expect, getting hitched in Aruba is pretty low-key. The couple was completely open to any suggestion I had, and the entire week reflected their easy-going attitudes. I hope you enjoy a few favorites while we get the album design whooped up.

Thanks for a great time, Alex & Ryan! There are a few more pics on FaceBook, but I’m focusing on getting the album done now…

Mike - Wow, that looked like quite THE gig. And ugh, it is really snowy here in NYC.

February 1, 2010 - 12:27 am

Hoiyin Ip - Good job with the editing! Now you just need to make the album yourself. :)

Dueling Camera Toss

So, Mike is out here for the Pictage User Group meeting. His presentation was great, as always, but I wanted to share these images with you from our first-ever Dueling Camera Toss. The vertical image is from Mike’s camera, and you can see my camera in the shot, pointing down. I put up a couple from mine, one of which you can see Mike’s camera.

So fun!

George Koroneos - I can’t lie, I almost choked when I saw the camera in the air. I don’t have the guts to try that with anything bigger than a point and shoot.

January 28, 2010 - 9:48 am

Kay Beaton - Wow… great camera toss photos…. makes me want to try it myself!

January 27, 2010 - 6:15 pm

eli@elimurray.com - Wow! I cannot believe you guys tossed your cameras in the air like that. Some really sweet photos, but come on. Too crazy!

Amy & Bert : The Album

Here we go!

January 26, 2010 - 1:35 pm

Jamie Guigno - Kevin. You’re photos are amazing! I just found you on fb and followed your stuff here. Your composition and style is just right on point. I admire your work.

Amy and Bert

To say that Amy and Bert were cool customers is putting it mildly. I don’t think I’ve met a more relaxed couple! They enjoyed their day, which is so good to see, and it always makes for better photos!

We were fortunate to shoot at the Indiana Museum of Art again, and the weather was perfect for this outdoor wedding. Kudos to Pat and Katie Slama (and Jess, the bride’s sister!) for handling the planning and details of the event.

Here’s some favorites…

GO MAN UNITED!
